Khoula Al Maqbali

Dr. Khoula Al Maqbali completed her medical education at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and joined the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) following her internship. She completed her rheumatology fellowship in Canberra, Australia, with exposure to both adult and pediatric/adolescent patients. During her time in Canberra, Dr. Khoula held a position in the RACP Physician Education unit at Canberra Hospital and served as a lecturer at The Australian National University.

She also holds a degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Melbourne, a Master’s in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Newcastle and is currently a PhD candidate in Medical Education at the University of Newcastle, Australia.

Her special interests include biologics, vasculitis, and rheumatological diseases in pregnancy.
