Ali Al Balushi

Dr. Ali K. Al Balushi is a consultant vascular neurologist and neurointerventionalist. He obtained his MD degree from Sultan Qaboos University after which he completed a residency training in Internal Medicine at Oman Medical Speciality Board in Oman. Then, he completed another residency training program in Neurology in the United States followed by fellowships in Vascular Neurology and Interventional Neurology. He is board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

He is the current head of the department of Neurology and Stroke unit at Khoula Hospital in Muscat, Oman. He serves as the associate program director for the Neurology residency program at Oman Medical Specialty Board.
