Tariq Al Fanna Al Araimi

Dr. Tariq Al Fanna Al Araimi is the Board Member of the Oman Society of Rheumatology (OSR). Majority of his practice is in the field of Rheumatology at the Royal Hospital in Oman. He completed his training at University of Toronto in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.

His Interest is bridging the gap between health care services and rheumatic diseases in the Middle East through innovative health professions educational models. In rheumatology, his interests are Vasculitis, in particular Behcet’s disease in which Dr. Tariq directs Bechcet’s clinic at the Royal Hospital.

Dr. Tariq successfully earned Dual Board Certification in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

Additionally, he is a Fellow International of the American College of Rheumatology (FACR) with interests in: large vessel vasculitis, Behcet’s, Connective tissue ILD and Health professions education.
